@gearvOsh, you are correct. The beta is going to be tiered out, not one big chunk. At least that's what Blizzard says ;p
@MrEdgeworth, actually yes gear does work for Blizzard, lol. But I agree, it being a holiday season has nothing to do with whether a beta will come out.  |

Would it be on one server, Or on different server's? It would be smarter to do 1 server. Because it would be easyier to handle it and stuff.  Done by Mustachio! |

Blizzard still gets over a week off of work during christmas. How do you expect them to manage a beta with no one in office for that long?  |

Considering that "the project was still going according to the intended timeline", all these dates they have been giving us are nothing more than stringing along the fans.

Umm... yes he does. I'm sure I heard somewhere that the Beta would start in one place, then slowly move to other regions, so it's entirely possible this could be only for the Russians. Then again, I'm not exactly up-to-date on this, so I don't really have much going.  |

this is blizzard we are talking about, they are a group of professional perfectionists.
plus they need to live up to the reputation of SC, it was the best game of its time. Blizz needs to make this the same. they are doing their best to do that, and creating a whole new better server like Bnet where millions of people use everyday.  |

No, they are not. They have the same trial and error attitude that every modern neanderthal company could be expected to have ... but at least they make an effort. Seemingly, they are somewhat able to learn from past mistakes and hopefully they won't release another completely flawed RTS, that is only playable because people haven't had time to uncover all the imbalances yet. I can't imagine that the delay will ultimately lead to a worse game, nor that the additional wait will be worth remembering afterward. Even though it might be likely that the delay is more related to economical interests, rather than actual balance -related issues.  |

I'll forgive them if they become more active with videos. Dustin Browder doesn't have to be the excited announcer in every one, but there should be more games on more maps released in shorter spans.

@Exen88 I would of gotten a cheaper case (I don't consider a $110 case to be worth it; I'd get a cheaper nice case) and a cheaper sound card ($140? wow, I would get a cheaper sound card but some awesome audio devices like headset, speaker, surround sound). With the extra money from the crappier parts, I might of gotten a better CPU/graphics card. I don't know Radeon GPU's, I'm a Nvidia guy. Sounds really nice though :)
On topic NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy The game better be everything it promises to be when it comes out. Go go blizzard go go! |

Er..Blizzard has WoW running while they're off for xmas dont they? So why cant they have a beta running during off time as well? Just tryin to point out that it doesn't make a very good argument that they cant monitor it during holidays, otherwise WoW would be shut down for a week.

Im starting to wonder if this game is ever going to come out its kinda like Starcraft Ghost all over again
Theyre gonna keep on postponing this game and eventually just scrap it I hope that never happens... but who knows it could happen. |
