Happy New Year from SC2Armory! | Jan 1st, 01:08pm | |

Well.. technicaly no moment come around often.. :P.. ever moment using the same numbes comes 4 times a year, at most, like 01.01.10 or 01.10.10. 10.10.10. or 10.01.10 :P... therefore 12.12.12 is the rarest, since it´ll happen twice in the year, with 12.21.12 :P... BTW... Happy new year!! wouldn't 11.11.11 be the rarest, happening only once? |

It is understandable that Blizzard experiences delays in the production of the game. But they have completely dropped the ball regarding community relations. We have seen four Battle Reports and some Q/As of mixed quality last year.
Blizzard should step up its game and inundate us with Battle Reports and game play clips in the next few weeks and months. This is the best way to keep the community happy and it doesn't cost them anything. A Battle Report or a good clip on a weekly basis is what we need while we patiently wait for the game. I am one of those who have experienced a loss of interest in the game. Not because of the delays, they are to be expected, but due to the extreme lack of communication from Blizzard. Never has it been easier or cheaper to stay in touch with your fan base, but Blizzard (SCII division, at least) doesn't seem to have noticed. My wish for Blizzard is that they reach out to the fans who have stayed loyal for 11 years. They will reap far more than they will sow! Failure to do so will probably result in fans like me not giving a damn about the game. I mean, I always have Brood War, which I play once og twice a month with my friends as I have done for the past 10 years. Worst case: skip SCII and stick with SC:BW :) it's not such a bad deal, after all! |

You can't fool me. We all know you will be a part of the mob, like all of us will, which will storm the game shops when this... thing hits the shelves like a devastating tsunami. |

Even though the Starcraft II Beta wasn't out in 2009 I still feel that with all the tournaments held by the armory on fraggednation over Hamachi were pretty dang cool. Also, I learned a lot about how to play RTS games more effectively through those matches as well. The Battle Reports as well as the sneaky amateur cam-recorded videos of SC2 gameplay in Korea really helped keep Starcraft 2 exciting while we're still waiting. Also, the Blizzcon internet stream was really something else too. The connection speed and video quality was even better than the 2008 World Wide Invitational stream held in Paris, France. Even though people had to pay $40, you could still sell your Murloc Marine Pet for $10, which I actually did to a college friend of mine and he's really into WoW.
Suffice to say, waiting and tracking the development for Starcraft 2 has been the hardest thing and yet one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever been through. When the game comes out we'll hopefully look back at how hard it is to make a really, really, good game such as Starcraft 2. But enough of that, we're in a new decade people!! WOO HOO! ^O^ |

Global Warming is the result of a cycle, the only reason the public believes man is the cause of it is because some people thought that they could make some money off of it. I'm all for saving the rainforest and other things of the sort, but reducing carbon emissions isn't going to matter in the grand scheme of things, it may be a greenhouse gas but A) its a completely overshadowed greenhouse gas, water vapor has much more greenhouse properties and is often left out of the equation in many statistics you read online, CO2 from man goes from looking like 30% of the cause to looking like .4% of the cause. B) one volcano offsets the CO2 output of all of mankind for 2 years. Any change we try to make in the environment (as I've said is just <1% of the cause) is easily offset by fluctuations in volcanic activity that are out of our control. and C) there was a noticeable drop in global temperature in the early years of the industrial revolution, proving that there really isn't much correlation in human CO2 output and global temperature. Sorry to break such news to you buddy but its just the truth. We can still look forward to 2010 though! Happy New Year sc2 armory!

That's how I felt in 1990, when I was 10. All the people were like: "Wooooow, the Sci-Fi year! Will we ride in spaceships and fire lazerz?" ^^ |

I think Blizzards New Years Resolution will Be.
"Blizzard will not give out false hope and Endless Beta dates for future games." EDIT: My Resolution will be. "I will not wait around for a game that takes 1 year more to finish passed the first date they say they would be ready for beta." |

Happy new year to all you peeps!
I'm guilty on the count of being less present here because of the lack of updates (as there's not much to speculate on that I havne't already). On the plus side for me in Starcraft-related stuff. Finally got the other 2 Dark Templar Saga books so yay! Here's hoping for a beta THIS year. |
