Just found this on gametrailers, and it's one of the few videos I've ever seen in my life that actually made be bellow with joy. It's just so amazing I can hardly believe it.

No kidding.. and I read (on IGN I think) that that is only the beginning of the opening cinematic, so I figure the real thing reveals some serious story with Kerrigan being in a apparent Xel'naga place. I'm beginning to think they've got something on her.

This was 1 of my highlights of BlizzCon, the crowd gasped as they saw Kerrigan step out of the shadows. I wanted to cry. ^^ oi

I knew you would get a kick out of this Roland, I instantly thought of you after I saw this video, saying to myself, "Oh man, Roland is going to love this. ^^ oi"

Yes Roland, you heard correct. That clip we just saw was actually the first 2 mins of a 4 minute video, said the Blizzard Official.

The other half will be revealed when we play Starcract 2.

You were right, and I think they flashed us a Xel'naga at about 0.42-0.49. The image below, if you watch in in video, shows Zerg and Protoss underneath, fighting. Sorry for the small image, imageshack won't let me get a full-size link right now, if you want to see if full, check out the video.



Oh, and Kerrigan is probably why Zeratul was wounded when he found Raynor.

Oh and btw, there was another new cinamatic they showed at BlizzCon. It was about Raynor, Tychus, Matt, and how the Swarm is taking over their base. Raynor and his crew gather on the Hyperion and retreat from the Zerg. After that, they see a news report about Zerg attacks all over the galaxy. While they are watching the news report, they see footage of Kerrigan attacking along side with a bunch of Zerg units.

It's hard to explain, but hopefully you or I can find this video, it's so epic.

I loved everything about the cinematic except for that little slow motion segment with the Hydralisk arm, it just seemed kind of unnecessary to me.

I think it would have been far more intense if it just showed him quickly slice off the Hydralisk's appendage, grab it, and shove it into it's skull all within an instant, rather than have Zeratul's arm raised in the air for 5 seconds like they're saying "HEY LOOK, EVERYTHING IS IN SLOW MOTION, THAT MEANS SOMETHING REALLY COOL IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN GUYS."

The problem is within those few seconds of slow motion I figured out what was going to happen, and when it did finally happen it didn't impact as much as it could have.

Since The Matrix came out it seems like directors and the like always think slow-motion automatically equates to awesome, but I've seen so many slow-mo scenes in movies and shows, hell even in commercials, it just doesn't strike me as cool anymore. It was awesome in 1999 when no one had seen anything like it before, but nowadays it's just cheesy.

Sorry, I like to ramble.

*Oh and Stebo88, I'm not trying to be rude or anything here but calling that other scene they showed at BlizzCon a cinematic is kind of misleading. It was a cutscene, cinematics and cutscenes are two different things.

Man, the video I saw was SOOOO awesome I just can't wait for der game to come out! I watched a youtube version which was poor video and sound quality, but it was still so freakin awesome!!!

They had Zeratul's movement and look so perfect. I always thought the Protoss looked way to human to be realistic, but in the video Zeratul's Protoss body looked just how it should with the inverted chicken legs and long arms with that awesome warp blade.

The Hydras were equally awesome! You didn't see to much of Kerrigan, but her face and voice were also awesome! I have used the word awesome so many times its simply awesome!

After watching this, I can completely imagine a fantastic SC movie.

It simply MUST be made!!!

I really love the expression Kerrigan makes when she says "...eventually", the way her brow furrows and the slight smirk she does make her look so sinister. Her voice and delivery are also impeccable, it's relieving to know they brought back the original voice actress.

A shame Zeratul's voice isn't the same though, now he just sounds like Grom Hellscream from WC3.

Look at the video time limit; It appears to be 2 minutes or 1:40, not 1.

At BlizzCon they said it was only 1 minute. They must have made a mistake.

@silent_templar - It appears you are right, but no offense to you or spartan198, but I didn't really read what he had wrote. I only read what Roland wrote because Roland and I go way back and we both have a deep common interest with the game and with each other. In simple words: Roland and I are buddies. ^^ oi
