Just found this on gametrailers, and it's one of the few videos I've ever seen in my life that actually made be bellow with joy. It's just so amazing I can hardly believe it.

No kidding.. and I read (on IGN I think) that that is only the beginning of the opening cinematic, so I figure the real thing reveals some serious story with Kerrigan being in a apparent Xel'naga place. I'm beginning to think they've got something on her.

This was 1 of my highlights of BlizzCon, the crowd gasped as they saw Kerrigan step out of the shadows. I wanted to cry. ^^ oi

Yes Roland, you heard correct. That clip we just saw was actually the first 2 mins of a 4 minute video, said the Blizzard Official.

The other half will be revealed when we play Starcract 2.

You were right, and I think they flashed us a Xel'naga at about 0.42-0.49. The image below, if you watch in in video, shows Zerg and Protoss underneath, fighting. Sorry for the small image, imageshack won't let me get a full-size link right now, if you want to see if full, check out the video.

Oh and btw, there was another new cinamatic they showed at BlizzCon. It was about Raynor, Tychus, Matt, and how the Swarm is taking over their base. Raynor and his crew gather on the Hyperion and retreat from the Zerg. After that, they see a news report about Zerg attacks all over the galaxy. While they are watching the news report, they see footage of Kerrigan attacking along side with a bunch of Zerg units.

It's hard to explain, but hopefully you or I can find this video, it's so epic.

I loved everything about the cinematic except for that little slow motion segment with the Hydralisk arm, it just seemed kind of unnecessary to me.

I think it would have been far more intense if it just showed him quickly slice off the Hydralisk's appendage, grab it, and shove it into it's skull all within an instant, rather than have Zeratul's arm raised in the air for 5 seconds like they're saying "HEY LOOK, EVERYTHING IS IN SLOW MOTION, THAT MEANS SOMETHING REALLY COOL IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN GUYS."

The problem is within those few seconds of slow motion I figured out what was going to happen, and when it did finally happen it didn't impact as much as it could have.

Since The Matrix came out it seems like directors and the like always think slow-motion automatically equates to awesome, but I've seen so many slow-mo scenes in movies and shows, hell even in commercials, it just doesn't strike me as cool anymore. It was awesome in 1999 when no one had seen anything like it before, but nowadays it's just cheesy.

Sorry, I like to ramble.

*Oh and Stebo88, I'm not trying to be rude or anything here but calling that other scene they showed at BlizzCon a cinematic is kind of misleading. It was a cutscene, cinematics and cutscenes are two different things.

Correction. It is the first minute out of a 4 minute intro. ;)

Oh yeah, I saw that there was something about that, but I haven't been able to find it, though I find it hard to believe something related to SC2 isn't on the internet.
