Huge Queen

The Huge Queen was an even more upgraded morph version of the regular Large Queen. It gained increased health, damage, armor, and some new abilities.

Large Queen

The Large Queen was a upgraded morph version of the regular Queen. It gained increased health, damage, armor, and some new abilities.

Lurker

The Lurker is an upgraded form of the Hydralisk. Its main advantage is the ability to attack with siege range, all the while underground.

Lurker Den

The Lurker Den was an upgrade to the Hydralisk Den. It allowed the Hydralisk to upgrade into a Lurker; a powerful unit that attacks while burrowed. It was later removed (temporarily) before Beta testing.

Shrieker

The Shrieker is a now-canceled Zerg structure which was produced from a Creep Tumor and used to defend a Zerg base. Resembling a small tower, it acted as a detector, shrieking when enemy units drew near. It was associated with Swarm Clutches. It extended the range of any such biomorph to anywhere within its own detection radius, and through careful positioning could effectively double their attack range in some cases.

Swarm Clutch

The Swarm Clutch is a now-canceled structure consisting of a set of eggs laid by a Zerg Queen. It resembled a set of tubes that hatched when enemies approach, attacking land and air units. The Swarm Clutch had a slow but powerful attack, dealing high damage over time by launching suicidal "bugs". Swarm Clutch units had low health. Shriekers extended the range of Swarm Clutches to anywhere within its own detection radius, and through careful positioning could effectively double their attack range in some cases.
