Starcraft 2 Armory - Unofficial Starcraft 2 Fansite

The Starcraft 2 website has been updated with a character profile for Matt Horner, Raynor's right hand man.

The second son of a minor merchant on Tyrador IX, Matt Horner grew up longing for something more interesting than his boring, safe life.

He found that something in the tales of a visiting trader, who spoke of an evil empire and the men and women brave enough to plot its downfall. The trader was a member of the Sons of Korhal and was actively recruiting new members. Matt proved to be a perfect target: he was young, smart, idealistic, and bored.

I'm going to read it but why doesn't anyone say anything about the difference between his good looking face in that picture compared to his ass face on the battlecruiser Hyperion? When he speaks it's like chunks of flesh are moving it looks horrible even nightmarish if watched often, just my opinion though please notice it!

Probably because it was an older, out dated model? I dunno, I have never really noticed it.

Anyways nice update. Not a ton of info but it was entertaining nonetheless.

A nice update interesting that Matt was the one who picked up Raynor.

@Doomer 2000 pleases do not say First it can get annoying after awhile. Also some member may not like it that much, and may state displease in a less than cilvil manner.

I was just replaying that level where the Zerg overwhelm Tarsonis when I came here and read the update. Nice information.

I guess he won't be bored now that he is on the run from the 'Empire' every second of his life.

Matt's story was a bit vernal but a little too classic if you ask me. Overall, no complaints. I'm glad there was a new update and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Matt in the game, although I doubt he'll be a main protagonist in the story, just a side character. He's sorta a vigilante of the universe and he kinda reminds me of Luke Skywalker, the pure and sweet innocent character just trying to make the universe a better place.

Interesting that they chose him to write about, although it is a nice read.

I dunno, he's supposed to be loyal to raynor and sees him as a great leader even though others doubt him, but.... He seems fishy to me. I feel like something bad is gonna happen, which has to do with Matt Horner.

I heard that he used to be Mengsk's son..something like commander alexander mengsk or some crap then they re-edited it lol..still he looks cool ^^ and still a human is a social creature so im sure the more the merrier..im wondering if they do Kerrigan soon O.o X3

Great. Good to know there's update again. I just wonder if the next Terran character to be introduced would be this one??
